5-Minute Decluttering Routine for Super Busy Moms

Here is the promised 5-minute clutter-busting kitchen example. Fortunately, big brother was helping little guy with a video game, so I had five minutes of uninterrupted, focused clutter-busting time.

The “before” shot isn’t terrible—I’ve seen worse. One thing that always bothers me is a full garbage can, which you can see to the left.

And after five minutes……

The sweet sight of a small victory. It’s not perfect, but it’s cleared enough to prepare a simple lunch or to tidy away old food for today’s challenge.

What can you do in five minutes?

I know it’s harder when you have little ones around, so this week and next I’ll be sharing two-minute challenges. Two minutes of home care and clutter-busting is better than no minutes at all.

And just so you remember—you totally rock.
