All the flavor of your favorite peanut butter cup wrapped around crunchy popcorn! This Peanut Butter Popcorn is for you, Reese’s Lovers!

I have an unabashed love for Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups—it’s a weakness my family knows well. Early in our marriage I admitted to my husband that I sometimes reach for one from the nightstand first thing in the morning. It wasn’t a declaration of eating candy for breakfast so much as a sleepy, guilty pleasure: roll over, grab a Reese’s, and savor that sweet, peanut-buttery bite while still half-asleep.
My husband took that confession in stride—and with an enormous dose of kindness. For years he kept the nightstand drawer stocked with Reese’s, and on many mornings he would wake me with one in hand. We’ve been married nearly 13 years, and while the late-night bedside treats are less frequent now, that sweet habit remains one of my favorite memories. It’s a small, silly example of how thoughtful gestures can mean a lot.
So yes—this peanut butter popcorn is dedicated to him. If turning your favorite candy into a crunchy, shareable snack sounds romantic, consider this my shout-out to the little things that keep marriage fun. This recipe combines sweet, salty, and creamy elements for a snack that’s practically a portable peanut butter cup.
This peanut butter popcorn is sweet, salty, and creamy—almost as satisfying as that first sleepy bite of a Reese’s straight from your partner’s hand. Serve it for movie night, parties, or whenever you need a nostalgic, peanut-butter-packed treat. Enjoy!
