Every so often I’ll share cooking tips and techniques I’ve discovered while baking.
This particular tip I first noticed on Pinterest. The original idea comes from Kelly Neil, and I’m passing it along in case you haven’t seen it yet.
I’ve been practicing recipes and baking treats this week for my daughter’s birthday on Tuesday. I tried this method and it really works — the cupcakes bake evenly and come out perfectly. Give it a try!

To clarify: preheat your oven to 350°F. Once you place the cupcakes inside, immediately reduce the temperature to 325°F and start the timer. This small adjustment helps the cupcakes bake more evenly, preventing domed tops and cracking while ensuring a tender, moist crumb.
